Bellevue DECA Attending the Fall Leadership Conference
Each fall the various Collegiate DECA chapters throughout Washington and British Columbia gather together for a Fall Orientation and Leadership Conference. This provides new students with an opportunity to learn more DECA’s competitive events, while returning students can explore leadership roles for the state delegation.
All students benefit from hearing from a number of carefully selected speakers related to the conference’s theme of entrepreneurship and innovation. But perhaps the most compelling reason to attend is to get away from the city and enjoy the autumn weather in historic Leavenworth. We’ll be staying at the upscale but rustic Icicle Inn, which should be a fun getaway and a great chance to spend time with teammates.
If you’re interested in attending the conference, please contact Kyle as soon as possible to register for the event. It will take place November 5-7, with us leaving Bellevue College around 4 PM on Thursday and returning around 2 PM on Saturday. Students are responsible for the $100 registration fee, which includes some meals. The school will cover the hotel costs.
